After you’ve reserved your spot, it’s time to start prepping! Whether you’re planning on an all-day hike, an overnight sleepover, or a simple lunch outing, you’ll want to make sure you’re prepared! While we provide all of the essentials, having an extra water bowl on hand is always recommended no matter where your adventure takes you.
While you wait for your scheduled appointment, check out our list of adoptable pets! Most dogs over 4 months old are eligible to participate in Paws Around GVL. Our matchmakers will help find the best fit for wherever your adventure takes you!
Today’s the day! Give yourself enough time to prepare any necessary items for your outing and then head on over to the Adoption Center! When you get here, stop by the front desk and let them know you’re here for Paws Around GVL. Be sure to have your confirmation email on-hand!
Shower your adventure buddy with love and new experiences (and don’t forget to hit up one of our PAG Partners for some cool discounts and freebies)! No matter where you take them, they will be so appreciative of the time you’ve taken to get them out of the shelter.
The Greenville Humane Society prides itself on finding the perfect family for each and every pet that comes into our care. While it is our greatest wish that every animal would find their best match right away, the reality is that some animals spend days, weeks, and even months in the shelter. The Furever Fund was created to alleviate the costs incurred by our long-stay residents by providing essential services to prepare pets for their forever homes.
$10 – Provide a Shelter Pet with a Blanket and Toy
$25 – Provide Food and Care to a Shelter Pet for a Week
$50 – Provide a Shelter Pet with a Microchip and Core Vaccines
$100 – Provide Spay/Neuter Services for a Shelter Pet
$300 – Provide Behavior Consultation and Training to a Long-term Shelter Pet
